Thrudays

For breakfast, Fahim again made Beli tea for me, but used half as much of the loose weed. Make it sound like BC grass. But yes, at this strength, the Beli tea is much better, but tomorrow, I’ll try it with half again as much weed. I think it’s still on the strong side.

I’m also doing another load of laundry today. Does it never end? Don’t answer that.

For our meals, today I made more thalapath.

Thalapath Coconut Curry

(Yes, I’m biased towards coconut milk with white fish. Mmmmm.)

Thalapath

2 tablespoons coconut oil

1/4 cup water – cook for five minutes, then add

1 diced tomato – about 1/2 cup

4 green onion shoots, sliced – about 1 cup

1/2 cup coconut milk

1 t salt

1 t curry powder

Vegetable Curry

2 tablespoons coconut oil

4 cloves garlic

2 Bombay onions, diced

1 potato, diced

1 carrot, diced

1 t curry powder

1 1/2 t chili powder

1 t black pepper

1 t salt

1/2 cup water – cook for five or ten minutes

2 green chilis, chopped

5 capsicum, chopped

1/2 cabbage, sliced – about 1 cup

With what else but the pink rice.

If you think we eat anything other than rice, you’re sadly mistaken.

Okay, exaggeration, but seriously, what kind of a comment did you expect from me?

What else? Hmmmm. Nothing, so far. Fahim should be home from work in about another half hour, and in the meantime, I think I’ll go work on, let me see, our website.
