It's been a long time since I've written anything in my blog, and boy does this take me back.
Why?
Because Fahim, in his desire to start blogging again, resurrected Blog, the application that started this whole mess.
The entire reason Fahim and I got married in the first place is because of Blog, the application he wrote back around 1999, but which I didn't download until 2003 and didn't know how to use correctly – I did not have the technical know-how – and which was the entire reason we started chatting – help me, Obe Wan Kenobi, you are my only hope – which led to… Well, you get it.
This iteration of Blog is not, strictly speaking, a resurrection. He wrote this iteration from scratch.
Blog is an app that sits on our Macs where we can type up our blog posts, add images or links or whatever, then post to our WordPress site. Just so you know.
Anyway. Here it is, four days from us celebrating 23 years of marriage. All because of Blog.
