Races

Not races as in color of skin. Nope. As in running.

On the way to church, I passed by a race being run by Sri Lankans along the major roads, and guess what surprised me?

That some of the people – quite a few of them, in fact, were running barefoot. And not cringing. In pain.

Well, when the national shoe is a flip flop, that’s what happens. Ya can’t run too well in flip flops. It just doesn’t work.
