Project #365 Day 153 – Red Bells

red bell flowers, Sri Lanka

We have a lot of plants that, honestly, I have no idea at all what they’re called. Some I’ve seen in Canada, sold as tropical plants (d’uh!) and requiring warmth year round, so were indoors-only plants. Other plants here I’d never seen before. This is one such plant.

It’s a very delicate plant, bending over at will, not able to stay upright unless its leaning on another plant. And then, imagine my surprise when, one day, I walk outside and see tiny little red bell-shaped flowers on it. Who knew? 🙂

What I really really really want, though, is a macro lens so I can better, closer shots of it. 😀

What do you think? Do you like it, hate it, or are you indifferent to it? What works for you? What doesn’t? 🙂
