Duruthu Poya Day

That’s today.

Poya Day happens every full moon. There aren’t any huge festivals related to it that I’ve seen. All I’ve noticed about it is that Fahim doesn’t have to work. Cool.

Oh, and neither do most other people. It’s a general holiday.

And if Fahim doesn’t work, neither do I. Mostly. Okay, so I still have to cook the meals, but other than that? We basically play. Watch movies. Watch television. Watch television episodes we (meaning Fahim, but that’s okay, I don’t mind taking credit. No, wait! It’s illegal! Forget it – it’s Fahim. All Fahim. Not even my idea – not one single bit.) downloaded off the internet.

It’s a do absolutely nothing productive at all day.

And I like days like that. 🙂
