Chicken Tagrine

I made Chicken Tagrine – Modified tonight. Look in the poultry recipes – it’s there.

While making it, I had to slice up the eggplant. This, under normal circumstances, is a fairly standard thing, nothing unusual, no big deal. Today?

Ugh. No.

I’ve found worm trails in fruit and veggies before, but this time? No, not trails. Entirely.

Well, no, there were trails. But there were also still moving worms.

I screamed! Fahim came running. Each time I screamed. And I screamed each time I found a new live worm.

Fahim suggested I just toss the eggplant. No. I’m stubborn. The worms hadn’t made that much progress. Chop out the wormy bits and I’ve still got more than 2/3 of the eggplant left. I ain’t throwing the rest of it.
