And the official cheer is BIC HOK TAM – butt in chair, hands on keyboard, typing away madly. If you’re a writer and need support/motivation/goal accountability, this is a great group. If’n ya wanna know more, email me. Or check them out at their website.
A comment on news. We get bits and pieces of news in English on three separate channels every morning. The news, and this is not and should not be surprising to any of you, focuses on Asia and the Middle East. There’s also a fair bit of news on Europe and some on the Americas. How interesting. The focus here could not ever be accused of being on the Americas. No, the US of A is not the centre of the planet. Who’d’a thunk it?
And now I’m off to BIC HOK TAM!
I’m back, and I wrote twelve pages. My daily goal is ten pages, but Fahim is pushing me to do fifteen – to get ahead of myself and be prepared for a day that I don’t meet my quota because I have too many other things going on. I think. And I procrastinate and have no discipline, so Fahim cheering me on massively helps.
As a note – if my entries seem a little sparse, please understand that I’m busy writing a novel and I’m doing my blog in the evenings after I’ve already met my novel writing quota, so it’s understandable that I may be tired, cranky, and not all energetic, along with busy.
