The yellow and black birds are known in Sri Lanka as Kaha Kurulla, which translates to ‘yellow bird’. They’re also known as the Black-hooded Oriole (Oriolus xanthornus).

The dark bird is possibly the White Bellied Drongo (Dicrurus caerulescens), known locally as Kauda.

The bird on the electric wire is the Spotted Dove (Streptopelia chinensis), known locally as Alu Kobeiya.
