Lou, my niece – 15 – and Ike, my nephew – 5 – arrived today from the Maldives where their dad, Drew, works as an aircraft mechanic.
The Maldives is about 400 miles away from Sri Lanka and is off the south west coast of India, whereas Sri Lanka is off the south east coast of India.
There! Geography lesson over!
Kim, my sister, shipped them off to us for two weeks vacation.
Yay!
We pick them up at the airport and then head to Majestic City (also known locally as MC) to do some shopping. Fahim and I pick up a good twenty DVDs or so – fairly typical for us – and Lou picks up a few.
Then we head home.
