Twilight by Stephanie Meyers

Last August, some internet friends sent me a package of books. Among those books was one by another member of that forum where we hung out.

So. Twilight. Which I thought I’d never get to read, but did.

I read it in a couple of days and thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven’t read a lot of vampire stories over the years, so I don’t know if the complaints of it all being done to death are true or not, nor can I comment on them. I can only comment on the quality of writing in this book, which was excellent. The story was told very well in an engaging manner. It kept my interest the entire way through, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I found it to be an interesting read.

So, Stephanie, congrats! You are officially a really decent writer – I said so, so it must be true.

And now I’m a fan and looking forward to reading the next one. And the one after that, and the one after that, and so on and so forth.

So thank you, and thanks to your sister as well, for the fun tromp.
