Gecko cupboards and cats

You remember me mentioning that dreaded cupboard? The one under the sink? The one with the gecko infestation?

Fahim and I both refuse to clean that cupboard, therefore we both refuse to use it. No way are either of us putting our hands in that cupboard – it’s disgusting.

The doors don’t quite close, and Tellulah and Oberon can nudge the doors open with their heads and paws, which they do, and then they crawl in, curl up, and nap away. I can’t even begin to imagine why, considering how it smells to me when I open the door, and cat’s sense of smell is supposed to be like 100 times more sensitive than humans? But they like the dark because, guess what, it’s cooler than everywhere else.

Ew.
