The news frequently shows just images – no commentary – on the destruction from all over the island. It’s bloody depressing.
Now they’re showing images of flooded areas – from the torrential downpours which caused flash flooding in areas. People are walking through a foot or so of rain in their streets. As if they weren’t wet enough before. Bridges are submerged. Holy crap! Completely submerged.
This just sucks.
