Have I talked about the music these ice cream bikes and trishaws use to attract customers?

No?

Then why don’t I?

Christmas music.

More specifically, jingles like "Jingle Bells, Christmas smells, a million miles away." (Lyrics courtesy Steve Christmas, a friend with really really smelly feet.) Or "Rudolph the red nose reindeer."

Anything that’s catchy.

And when you consider that only 7 1/2 % of the country is Christian, and even those have possibly not heard the Christmas jingles, it has no significance to anyone other than the foreigners.

As far as everyone else is concerned, it’s just a catchy tune. Nothing more.

Sigh. I will always be the foreigner here. Double sigh.
