<a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_India%2C_Singapore" rel="wikipedia" target="_blank" title="Little India, Singapore">Little India</a> is an area in <a class="zem_slink" href="https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=1.28333333333,103.833333333&spn=10.0,10.0&q=1.28333333333,103.833333333+(Singapore)&t=h" rel="geolocation" target="_blank" title="Singapore">Singapore</a> that has, you guessed it, a lot of Indians. Indian shops, <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_cuisine" rel="wikipedia" target="_blank" title="Indian cuisine">Indian restaurants</a>, Indian residents. In fact, there are so many <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indians_in_Singapore" rel="wikipedia" target="_blank" title="Indians in Singapore">Indians in Singapore</a> that Tamil, a language native to the <a class="zem_slink" href="https://maps.google.com/maps?ll=13.09,80.27&spn=1.0,1.0&q=13.09,80.27+(Tamil+Nadu)&t=h" rel="geolocation" target="_blank" title="Tamil Nadu">Tamil Nadu state</a> in <a class="zem_slink" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=28.6133333333,77.2083333333&spn=10.0,10.0&q=28.6133333333,77.2083333333 (India)&t=h" rel="geolocation" target="_blank" title="India">India</a>, is one of four official <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_Singapore" rel="wikipedia" target="_blank" title="Languages of Singapore">languages in Singapore</a> along with <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malay_language" rel="wikipedia" target="_blank" title="Malay language">Malay</a>, Chinese, and English.
These images were taken in Little India, an area of Singapore that I find particularly interesting.
There are also quite a few <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_East" rel="wikipedia" target="_blank" title="Middle East">Middle Eastern</a> restaurants in Little India, especially close to <a class="zem_slink" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=1.30225,103.858222222&spn=0.01,0.01&q=1.30225,103.858222222 (Arab%20Street)&t=h" rel="geolocation" target="_blank" title="Arab Street">Arab Street</a>. A coincidence? I think not. :)
