Fahim took me out for lunch at the Thambapani restaurant in Colombo. We’d eaten there before when I’d done a restaurant review for Travel Sri Lanka. Back then, the food and service were fantastic. This time, food and service were abysmal. And we left hungry since the portion sizes were so freaking small. Awful, awful, awful experience.
Nevertheless, I took this picture of a water fountain while we waited 20 minutes for anyone, anyone at all, to take our order.
