Power outages a political move?

Lately, we’ve been having upwards of 4 power outages a day, sometimes lasting as long as a half hour.

See, here’s the deal.

Corporations don’t pay their electric bill. The electric company then issues a warning, about to disconnect notice. The corporation then pleads with their favorite politician, saying they can’t possibly operate as a business without electricity. The politician then says fine, no problem, we’ll get it taken care of. The electric company is forced to keep carrying the company despite increasing mounting charges that never get paid.

The electric company is going bankrupt. No surprises there, eh?

So they’re doing regular power outages. Their only way to flex their bankrupt muscles.
