Garbage men.

The garbage men came by this afternoon picking up, what else, but garbage. Fahim ran downstairs to give the garbage to the garbage men, and the garbage men asked him for money in Sinhalese. This must have been what they were asking for last Wednesday that I didn’t understand. Fahim tells them, "Next time." Apparently, they think we’re both foreigners, and as such, are too stupid to know that the city pays them. They’re just trying to line their own pockets.
