His second pair are done with the single exception of the waistband.
The pants, as they came from the store, had a drawstring waist. Which Fahim hates. So elastic has to go in.
I don’t really feel like going through the whole rip-it-open, add elastic, and sew it all back up again, so instead, I’m going to get some 3/4" elastic (the 1" that I have is too wide to fit inside the channel), thread it through, and then zip it up.
It’ll look better that way anyway.
So. On to the next project…
