It at least got me in gear to produce something tangible. Can't say I hit 50K, but didn't do too bad. It may be quid that you can use the chance with NaNoWriMo to free write and develop some new ideas. They don't about the content, you'll have all winter to figure out what wrote on all those sleepless nights! I actually took a shot at it last year.
