So, I got a comment about MovableType and what it can do on this entry, or at least, I got the comment in my email. I go to respond to it – and also to see a part of the message that looked like it was missing stuff in my email – but no, it’s gone. Didn’t get posted, didn’t get held by Spam Karma, not in moderation. It just doesn’t exist. At all. As far as WordPress is concerned.
It never ends.
And it reminded me of another oddity I’ve experienced with WordPress. That of entries being posted without an author. Not supposed to happen, but, no, with me, it does.
So, seriously, if you’ve posted a comment to my blog and it doesn’t show up and it’s been more than, oh, 24 hours, then it’s not there because it disappeared, not because I killfiled it.
Well, heck, if it’s not there even if it’s less than five minutes later, it’s probably gone as in disappeared.
I’m thinking about cursing.
I think I’ll get lunch instead. Fahim is starting to nag.
