Another excellent resource for serious writers – serious writer being defined in my mind as any writer who wants to be published and paid for her writing – is Preditors & Editors.
Within, you’ll find a listing of agencies, good and bad, including those in the Top 20 Worst Agencies list.
For that matter, even if you don’t think you want an agent, go there and read the info anyway – you’ll get a decent education into the way the world of publishing really works, sans scammers.
