Banned Book Week

25 September 2005

In 2005, it’s from 24th September to 1st October. And no, I don’t know why it’s 8 days long instead of 7. Someone probably wasn’t looking at a calendar or thinking. But that’s beside the point.
On their site (ALA – American Library Association), they also have a list of the100 Most Frequently Challenged Books of [...]

I’m officially the ML – Municipal Liaison – for Sri Lanka for NaNoWriMo. Yay!
Problem is . . . I’m probably going to be the only person in the entire country signed up. My 15-year old niece, who will be in the Maldives (the Maldives are a group of over 1000 islands and atolls off the [...]

Monday – 13 pagesTuesday – 9 pagesWednesday-Sunday – zilchville Total – 24 pages
Yep, I brainstormed with Fahim beforehand – had the entire plot worked out.  Wore the elephant hat.  Blocked anyway.  What didn’t help were the constant headaches & migraines.  I found out last Friday that I have cataracts, and they [...]

What do you do about that infernal internal editor?

13 September 2005

BIW begins – September 2005

12 September 2005

The goal this week is 40 pages per day for a total of 280 pages this week. Yikes!
Tomorrow, though, is a scheduled all-day power outage, so I have to make up those pages today. Or, at least, some of them.
This is going to be fun. :p
Oh yeah, and there was a spider in my writing [...]
