I’ve been AWOL

31 March 2004

Got sick – again.  I had so many problems breathing yesterday that it was all I could do to make sure I didn’t pass out.  Went to an Ayurvedic doctor, got some disgusting powder and a drink, and wahoo, it works!  Yeah, this is my life. . .  But ya know [...]

More on Paranoia, AKA Data Backups

13 March 2004

If you haven’t already, please read this article this article on backups.
There has been some publicity and comments about CD-RWs lasting for only 1000 writes – Fahim, the computer programmer and geek, says that sometimes, they’ll last for only 10 or 15 burns, and 1000 is optimistic.  [...]

Progress

Haven’t done much.  I’ve been pretty busy with so many other things.  But today, I have free, and today, I will write.

Progress for 9 Mar 2004

9 March 2004

This week’s progress . . .

4 March 2004

Has been not so good.
I’ve had a few other things going on – things that needed to be dealt with this week – and they’re not done yet.  Granted, I’ve also procrastinated, so it’s my own damn fault, and I’m not doing things as efficiently as I could.  That’s something to work on.  Meantime, I’ve [...]

Rain, rain, and nothin’ but rain!

3 March 2004

We’re not scheduled to have much rain here until May when Monsoon Season hits.  March and April, though, are supposed to be the hottest months of the year.  My response?  You’ve got to be kidding me!  Then what the >bleep<!
But when monsoon starts, it’s supposed to cool [...]
