My office is now cleaner than it has been in anything resembling recent history. I still need to vacuum, but that can wait for another procrastination day.
I tried writing, got stuck, so, lacking any form of chocolate in the house, I made chocolate pudding. From scratch.
The things I do . . .
I wrote a few more pages including a completely unforeseen by me twist in the plot. And it looks like it’s going to end up as a major twist, perhaps taking the book in a completely unforeseen direction. Yup, everything is quite possibly irrevocably changed. Ain’t it fun? I think this one may just prove to be more interesting, although I’ll have to figure it out. Could make a more interesting love interest – although that’s a very small part of the story.
I really like it when my characters surprise me. It makes them seem more alive somehow.
Pages for the day: 5. And because I’m a geek, I can say that I’m now 7.5% of the way through. (At the beginning of this BIW, I had 8 pages written. I now have 30. Goal is 400 pages – but not in this BIW.) I set up a spreadsheet that keeps track of everything.
I really am a geek!!!
