12 pages.
Okay, so they have nothing to do with novel or screenplay, but they were still very important pages.

Do you print up your WIP?

29 March 2002

I print mine up chapter by chapter. I also, after finishing the first draft, take it with me when I go out. I frequently have to wait five or fifteen minutes, or whatever, and I do some editing while I’m out. Did that this morning while I wait for the shuttle [...]

Sugar, Sugar, Sugar! aka On Being Overweight

26 March 2002

As far as sugar cravings go, in my many travels on the internet, I came across a website that theorized that when we have sugar cravings, it’s really vitamin C that we’re craving. So boost up your vitamin C, and in theory, no more sugar cravings. Well, I tried it for [...]

I’m so absentminded and forgetful that . . .

25 March 2002

I’ve burned holes through countless kettles, and, in university, before I could afford a kettle, burned holes through pots as well. Replaced other people’s kettles too when I try to make herbal tea at friend’s houses. I finally got a whistling one, until it broke. Now I have electric with auto [...]

I once read an article, many years ago, about a Romance [...]

Hooks and Cliffhangers

8 March 2002

What I’ve read indicates that the beginning of each chapter should have a hook, and the end should have a cliffhanger. Makes the book a non-put-downable. Yeah, that’s a word. It’s in my dictionary and everything.
As for titles for chapters, I don’t bother naming [...]

Fluffy

8 March 2002

Back when I was in university, I took a Zoology course. Had to dissect a cat, which, of course, we stored in formaldehyde. I named mine "Fluffy".
Everyone else thought I was nuts. Well, I was.

Progress 7 March 2002

7 March 2002

I’m still sick with that same thing I’ve had for 2 1/2 weeks now. Yes, getting better, but slowly. Aaaaargh.
I’ve spent time that I previously hoped to use for writing in plotting and character development instead.
Monday – 5 pages Tuesday 3 pages Wednesday [...]
